This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, I am the proud owner of an 01 C2 triple black cab. purchased last summer. Thanks to this board I had ordered my flared sides and Rejex before even receiving the car. Since then I have added GHL exhaust and aluminun gauge rings, and an extended warranty thru easy care. I am going to order clear side markers, silver crest and would like to get the "snap on" type aluminum pedals. I am 6ft6in tall with size 12 shoes and was wondering if anyone knows if that will cause a problem ie. hitting the gas and brake together since they look pretty close to each other in the pictures I have seen.

POST 2Original post

Holy Man, how do you get in and out of the car......A shoe horn ?? Shouldnt cause any more problems, i am not sure how you dont do it now,but if not now , you shouldnt after the pedals are in

Welcome to rennlist! I have the Ruf-type pedals from carnewal.com (Gert), a rennlist sponsor and great guy. They are the same as Ruf pedals without the logo, and cheaper from carnewal. They have raised rubber "nubs" (don't know what else to call them), and I have never had a problem slipping (and I often drive with leather-soled dress shoes). They are not snap-on, but they are very easy to install yourself, takes about a hour or less.

POST 4Original post

There are good points and bad points about metal pedals. They look cool but unless there is some texture to the surface and I mean some serious texture your feet can slip and slide on them especially if you are wearing leather soled dress shoes or even flat bottom rubber soled shoes that are wet. If you can find someone who has the pedal style you are looking for 'feel' them out first to see if your feet will fit them without hitting the other pedals. I don't know anything about snap on pedals but the ones that you might find interesting and takes about 40 minutes to install are the Weltmeister Billet Aluminum Pedals. They are a touch larger than existing pedals by design, presumably to make 'heal/toe' control better if you are interested in that. You can get them from Performance Products at [url]http://www.automotion.com. They're about $200 a set which includes the dead pedal. I believe these are bolt ons and they have good 'texturing'. Another good set, with less texture is the RUF pedal which are cool looking. They're about 250 a set. [url]http://www.rufautocentre.com BTW your car is Beautiful!! Jim

POST 5Original post

Rennlines have good texturing, saw a set of snap ons, seemed low quality.

POST 6Original post
