Hello All, I 'm new to the board and wanted to share my first porsche experience with you. After years of waiting, I finally got my P'car. Picked it up from a dealer in South Florida. When I saw this car I had to take the plunge, it is awesome 2001 996c2 with 19K miles and fully loaded. Unfortunately after a checkup at the local dealer it is the recipient of RMS surgery, but this is good since it has 2 months of warranty left and all of the horses are alive. Can anyone give an idea of what to check for besides RMS ( got that one ). Thanks All. 996 flyer. ps: Finally!! LET THE MODS BEGIN.....

Check for oil leaks at the cam cover bolts and oil cooler. Easy fix under warranty.

tranny noise (manual), cam seal oil leak, coolant resevoire leak, suspension and brake should be checked out.
