This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm the lucky winner of a case of Royal Purple. Any good or bad experiences?

POST 3Original post

Long ago in my college days you could mix it with vodka, gin, rum, etc. and have a "purple Jesus" party, as long as everything was mixed in a large "clean" garbage can.Sorry- no experience with Royal purple.

POST 4Original post

Regarded as a great product in the drag racing arena but I have 0 first hand experience.

POST 6Original post

Does anyone have the TSB for Porsche approved oils? If it's not on their list I wouldn't risk running it in your engine.

POST 7Original post

It is not API approved (no starburst) and thus not recommended by Porsche or any other manufacturer for that matter.

POST 8Original post

I've got two cases of the stuff sitting in my garage. I'll use it in my Jeeps, but I'll stick to Mobil 1 in the P-car.

Yeah, it takes the "edge" off of moonshine.

POST 10Original post

Isn't that the stuff that was popular in the 90's and usually came in a 2L bottle? I think it came mixed with everclear.

POST 12Original post

I believe it has a solid grp IV/V base so it is a decent oil. However, for an expensive boutique oil it is overshadowed by both Redline and Amsoil. Additionally, the 5w-30 RP is known to shear quite badly. I don't have any experience to say whether the 40 weight is any more stable.
