Anyone know a good source for new / used? Found a site that had them at $299 but they were out of stock. Realize that is a killer price for new, but im willing to go used as well. Thanks! Need seats to fit me 6'5" 225 lbs and lower me to the floor of my 996 (no head room with helmet on) Thoughts on other manufacturers?

Hi, I have recently installed an EVO3 seat in my GT3. Look under the GT2/GT3 site and search, you'll find many photos and information posted by me. Unlikely you'll find a used one, as they are relatively new model. Cheers/John

The EVO3 seats fit, but just barely. They lean against the rear center console and the door sill edge. You'll need to trim about an inch of the left shoulder fiberglass to allow the door to close. Custom brackets will need to be built to get the seat near the floor. Good Luck

i have the evo2 seats in my 996 and no cutting is required. i used oem manual sliders fitted to brey-kraus side mounts specifically for the sparco evo2. they are great seats but i am tempted to get recaro pole position for the driver seat and recaro srd/speed seat for the passenger. even though i have limited space behind my roll bar the tilting for the the srd/speed seat still allows me to get back there. i am also thinking of this as this would allow for matching seat brands. my wife would also fit better in the SRD. too bad sparco doesn't have anything like the recaro SRD.

My butt won't fit in an EVO, GT3, or EVO2. Gotts sit in them all to figure it out. Try a Racing Shop as most Porsches that are raced use racing seats.
