Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Simon's random observations of the day: I'm starting to think that my 18" non-hollow-spoke Twists are too heavy to work well with my M030 suspension upgrade: they tend to "skitter" on bumpy corners. But this morning up in Old Topanga Canyon at 35 degrees F, the problem was far worse. It wasn't just the usual reduction in grip on summer tyres, I think the tyres lost some of their compliance in the cold so they really weren't happy on bumpy bends.. No major problem, just another observation on winter and summer tyres. As for the heavy wheel issue, I'll do something about it next year after I complete my move to tropical Delaware.

POST 2Original post

At 35 degrees F on Z rated summer tires, you are essentially driving on marbles.

So you accepted the position? When is the move?

Thanks, yes I accepted! The timing of the move depends on the INS, but hopefully I can start in early January. I'll bring the car over in May after a last blast at the Silver State.

And to add to the "fun", there's one bend which always gets hit by somebody's sprinklers at 7.15am, so I always watch the temperature gauge very carefully on the approach so I know if I'll be hitting water or ice...
