Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have OEM 18" wheels (I think 7 1/2 and 10"). They are the carrera classic wheels. I want to get some spacers and take the wheel all the way out (with out rubbing). What are the widest recommended spacers? I was thinking 15MM on all 4 but wasn't sure. thanks, PS I do have coilovers and my car is lower than stock but no too much.

POST 2Original post

I have 18" in 15mm spacers and my p is lowered and no rubbing...it looks great!

POST 3Original post

Your best bet is to measure the available space yourself on both the front and rear tires. Here is a diagram that may help you see what I am takling about (sorry about the poor drawing). All you need to do is measure the distance (in mm) between the outside of the fender and the tire at the fender opening height (gold line). Then subrtact the width of "lip" in the inside of the fender. That will give you the available space of your current set up. Then you can determine how much to reduce that number by to give you a "margin od safety" so the wheels don't rub. Let me know if you have any questions.

POST 5Original post

I am using H&R spacers. 7mm front and 15mm rear, this is a popular combination. some opt for the 15mm spacers up front too. I prefer to lean to the conservitive side

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks John...those look about right. And the car color is right too...

POST 7Original post

where would you get the spacers and how do you put them on? thx, john

POST 9Original post

Say NO to spacers (Tim I need a smiley to represent this)
