Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have been trying to contact Bilstein to know which is the best set-up to run my carrera 2, but untill now did not get any info.
Set although it handled the bumps better - compression ease

It was far too underdamped for the springs at that setting, although it handled the bumps better - compression ease, it had too much rebound.

Can anyone provide an idea of how the softest PSS9 setting compares to the US M030 stock setting?
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have been trying to contact Bilstein to know which is the best set-up to run my carrera 2, but untill now did not get any info.
Does anyone know which is the best set-up to use on the track, the best set-up for the street, considering ride height and remound set-ups.
Thanks in advance.

Andre,
I don't have an answer, just another question about the PSS9. Can anyone provide an idea of how the softest PSS9 setting compares to the US M030 stock setting?
I would like to get PSS9 but need softness for the Targa Newfoundland this fall in addition to track stiffness.
Any help is most appreciated.
Cheers ... JD
I've got mine set at 4 in the front and 5 in the back based on recommendations from this board. On pothole filled midwestern roads, it's been acceptably compliant. I take it to the track next week, so we'll see how that setting works.
Good luck,
Jd
I guess it can be really soft. I have been using a type of bilstein for my S4, and the car is really comfy and really gripy when needed. In that case i droped one inch in all four corners.
And David
Did you lower your car? Or it is the same as stock hide height?

I run mine at 3/4 I originally tried 4/5 and was very very unimpressed. It was far too underdamped for the springs at that setting, although it handled the bumps better - compression ease, it had too much rebound.
I have mine at 2/3. It is okay at the track on and the steet. While it is much, much better at the track, I think I would be happier if it were stiffer. I am thinking about adding adjustable GT3 sway bars.

Thanks, but my intention here is to have different set-ups. Of course I could go directly to the shop and just say - do it!.
But that's not what I want it. I would like to do some fine tunning for driving at the streets and also at the track.
Cheers

I looks like this is the way to go when considering both different purposes.
Sure sway bars would help to reduce 'rolling' add some spacers. Any recomendations?
