Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

All of you guys that have spacers on, where did you buy them? Also, where can you get the extended bolts with the bulb around them similar to the OE bolts? What width spacers did you go with in the front and rear? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

http://www.wheelenhancement.com/ I think these guys have all of the items.

POST 3Original post

I bought H&R 15mm bolt-through spacers for the front of my C2, none for the rears. I have standard 17" wheels. I highly recommend these spacers. The quality is superb and they even come with screws that go into threaded holes in your wheel hub so the spacer doesn't move around when you re-install your wheel. I got mine from Performance Products, but you can do a search on H&R's web site: www.hrsprings.com for other dealers. You will need longer bolts, which H&R makes (46mm vs. standard 30mm), or you can get high-quality chrome bolts all around, 46mm for the front and 30mm for the wheels without spacers from www.ralphboothe.com. These come with the swivel collar like the original bolts.

Oggie, Ralph Boothe's site is www.boothedesign.com. I have his spacers and lug bolts. The bolts are awesome looking!

POST 5Original post

If you want factory spacers, a good source is Carnewal . BTW, the factory only approves 5 mm and 17 mm spacers on the 996. Front and rear sizes depends on your wheel sizes.

POST 6Original post

H @ R 18mm on the rear only. Purchased from Evolution Motorsports with the bolts included.
