Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I use the old turn the head and play it double safe.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My buddy John dropped by the other day with his brand new 997. I thought I'd post the photos. His car came with the aerokit as option. He has now installed PSS9, Rool bar, GT3 Seats with Nomex fabric and full FVD headers, 200 cell cats and muffs!
I'm not wild about the fog lights on the bumper. I know, I'm biased since I have a 996, but I have gotten used to the headlights on the 996 and I love not having anything on the bumper since that darn things needs to be repainted almost annually.
Oh yeah, some ****** backed into my car parked in the city tonight and left a little love mark. Yes, that's those little scratches in the clear coat that drive me nuts. It really cracks me up to see so many nice cars in this city with scratches all over their front and rear bumpers. FTR, I never use the tap and park method....even though I don't have parking sensors. I use the old turn the head and play it double safe.
Very hot! John posted a thread recently about that car and what I realized is that the aerokit and wheels are very polarizing in the community. From what I could gather you either love em or hate em! Personally, I love em. That is going to be one beast of a car on the track!
My new car purchase this summer came down to a 996GT3 or a 997Aero and I chose the 996GT3 because it will be on the track alot. Had it been a situation where I was only doing a few DE's a year, then I would have opted for the 997AERO but I gotta say, I haven't bought the car yet and every time I see John's car I get very confused in my purchase decision.......I WANT BOTH!
I'm looking at a 997/997S and I *really* like the aero too...but I have a driveway with about a 15% incline. I scrape my front and pipes if I'm not careful.
Dell,
I think you made a good choice for the GT3. If I were to choose from same milage, same good condition 997 and 996 GT3, I'd go for the GT3. Specially if track events are in sight. For plain daily driving, probably 997. Remember, the record in the Nurburgring for a street legal production car is still held by the 996 GT3 with Walter Rohrl on the wheel. Not the 997, any "S" 996/997, GT2, nor the TT.
