Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

.. if you love Porsches, but it goes to show the resiliance of the beast.
Not sure that a 996 would stand up to this kind of abuse though!

I used to travel to the UK quite a bit and would see this series there. Not a bad one (not sure where the moron comment comes from) and entertaining at times.
Great post.

Jerremy Clarkeson pisses on everything Porsche and praises everything made in the U.K. he also has a softspot for Ferrari's. The later which I can understand.

For a time this past summer, Mr. Clarkson's show, Top Gear (I think), was on here. I don't think it is presently on.
The show has a lot of humor in it, some of it very silly, some of it pretty clever.
Typical of the humor was Clarkson's review of the 997. The first minute was him driving around in a 996 claiming that, while a wonderful car, he couldn't perceive any real improvements. He then stopped the car next to a 997 and claimed that he had gotten into the wrong car. They used humor to highlight that Porsche changed styling in only a very subtle way.
His review was very positive, both on the virtues of the 996 and the 997.
Mr. Clarkson comes off as a bit of a know-it-all, but it is a very entertaining show.
