Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hi all, I am 100% sure that most of have broken a plastic item which was very expensive to replace.... for excample to me it happend to brake the hinge on wich the front bumper of my Honda civic is screwed on to the car.... i was sow annoyed that i was ready to buy a new bumper since all efforts that i did to dond together the broken pieces were unsuccesfull!!!! then an old guy passed by....and he said the magic words: "use baking soda with instant glue!" i did it and it worked....!!!!! i suggest u try it.... 1. bring the 2 pieces together 2. apply 1-2 drops of instant glue (u do not have to be quick, and do not worry if it gets dry- which will propably will) 3. then put some baking soda on the gap 4. apply again 4-5 drops of glue it will start smoking and melting all the parts....and bond them together.... stage 4 will relocate the dry qlue of stage 2..... be carefull it is extremelly hot !!!!!! tip....the shape of the dropped baking soda will remain the same. so it is better that you shape first the b.s. and then drop again the glue!!! try it.... if the final shape of the b.s. is not the required ...u can use a a drill , sand paperpaper and enything else you might think!!!
