I don't mean to start an oil thread but I thought some of you may be interested. I just picked up 11 qts of Castrol Syntec 5W-40 at Advance Auto Parts. They are running a special for 5 qts and a filter for $32.99. I saw the ad on the internet last night but I couldn't seem to be able to get the deal online. The offer expires today (3/31).

I picked up some last weekend. Great deal! Of course, they never seem to have an oil filter I can use. I had to get a filter anyway; otherwise the deal doesn't ring up right.

I must have a dozen filters in my garage from these incentive sales. It is still cheaper to by the oil this way even if you toss out the filters. Kind of sad that we have this disposable economy.
