Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T112012Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well yesterday I finally got around to getting it done. All in all a simple task. One more thing can get checked off the "things to do" list.

sure was, thanks!

POST 4Original post

Just did mine today, I am glad I did it. Haven't put bumper back on yet, I think it's going to be a PITA to do. Don't think it has ever been cleaned.

POST 5Original post

Now those ^^^^are nasty. Did you get the sand and road grit out? How did you it? Pressure washer?

POST 6Original post

You can also take them to a radiator shop and have them dipped in their sonic tank which vibrates out all the tiny particles....

POST 7Original post

Too keep them clean, use the leaf blower before and after each car washing.

POST 8Original post

I drove through some deep puddles last fall... That's why I knew I have to clean them. I don't think the previous owner cleaned them, the screws are all rusted, and one of them broke on me.

Good job man! Put some new screws, clean everything that you can, and re-assemble and give yourself a big pat on the back for this DIY!

POST 10Original post

Did mine yesterday, 2hr job, I'm in a wheelchair so no excuses.

POST 11Original post

Spent the morning on mine today, total of five hours, but that includes a wash, stop for a burger, and a trip to Downtown Porsche for a handful of replacement clips for the wheel well liners.
