Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has this happened to anyone else? It's tearing at the seams in several spots. One tear is about seven inches. $78 from the dealer. Anyone know of a cheaper source? thanks!

POST 3Original post

I have a 99 C-2 that had the same thing occur and had the dealer give me a replacement under warranty, but in the meantime I had a fixed wing on order. I ended up putting the fixed wing on and never installing the "accordian" baffle. If you're interested in it e-mail me and we can work out a price.

Not a good idea

Fluke996... you've got mail...

POST 6Original post

I just did this DIY. I followed the instructions at Renntech (here): http://www.renntech.org/forums/index...667&hl=bellows These are the best instructions I've followed for an auto DIY in a long time. The job was just as described and took about as long as the intructions said. Perfect and a very easy job! The only thing missed in the description that I did to make life easier was to remove the 3rd brake light in order to slide the upper metal retainer out of position. The part number that you need for this item is: Spoiler Trim, Porsche Part #: 996 512 250 00 I bought mind from Sunset Imports for $68.24

POST 7Original post

Damn...too late again. Fluke 996, if for some strange reason P1CR doesn't take it, I will!

POST 8Original post

Uhh, dude, you're about four years too late! Did you check the date of that post?

POST 10Original post

Holy crap. That's hilarious! Obviously, I did not check the date! (you guys don't think he still has it do you?).
