Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If you'd want to pay the shipping from California....I think Loren over on RennTech has a set he's willing to donate to a fellow P-car lover.

Don't forget that the 3.6 mufflers bolt right on using your mounting brackets.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a question, can the mufflers be removed without jacking up the car?
I have an urge to go ahead and do the MKII mod with my originals on the car....
No. You have to jack up the car and remove the rear wheels to be able to remove the mufflers. If you wanted to mod your current mufflers, you could take it to a muffler shop and have them remove, mod, and then replace the mufflers.
My car is a lease, so I wanted to be able to get back to stock at the end of the lease. Although, I may have gone a little overboard on my mods.
You wont regret it, mine is loud under power and tame while cruising. I used an inch and a half pipe instead of the inch and a quarter like Porsche uses plus mine is straight while the Porsche design is a "J". I am pretty sure, but not confirmed, that mine is louder than Porsches' design.
Thanks for the replys. Looking not to spend too much money on these as I have my 60,000 mile tune up coming up and well, that cost an arm and a leg....
i was reading up on it and it seems that the MKI mod on the 3.4L would produce something similar to the MKII 3.6L mod. It is really hard to find a cheap set of 3.6L so I decided to look for the 3.4L, Thanks for the heads up though.
Cos - yes, I will be removing the modded mufflers, but about 6 weeks ago another Rennlister already requested first shot at them. Consider yourself second on the list.
Yes, I will probably be removing the modded mufflers when I sell the car. However, about 6 weeks ago, another Rennlister requested first shot at my mufflers. But you can consider yourself
second in line
for them.
