Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Don't think I have seen a 5.0 or higher since I installed the Fabspeed airkit.
Leading evidence: 'Install fabspeed airkit' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean air filter' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I run consistent 4.7 to 4.8 with more 4.6s than 5.0s or greater.

I'll fix my gtech to get some data and maybe clean the air filter..

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Greetings,
There seems to be an acceleration lag (most noticeable on 2nd and 3rd gears) right at 5,000rpm.. To explain it more: the needle revs all the way constantly till 5k, hesitates there for a split, then continues regularly till 7k..
It's either normal or it's me getting too used to the car.. I'll fix my gtech to get some data and maybe clean the air filter..

Got g-tech results, best in five trials:
5.6sec 0-100km/hr
14sec for the 1/4mile (cant remember the speed)
seems ok.. can do better but dont want to bbq the clutch..

There is a small flat spot around 5000 rpm that is normal. You can see it on the torque and HP charts for the car.
I have not done a g-tech on my car for a few years, but it was fairly easy to get 4.9 - 5.2 0-60 and was able to get one 4.7. I would rev it to about 2500 rpm and the left off the clutch slowly and ease a bit on the gas to avoid the wheel hop.
I launch at about 3,500 and hammer the gas the split second the clutch is engaging to keep wheel hop down, but to also keep from sagging at start. I run consistent 4.7 to 4.8 with more 4.6s than 5.0s or greater. Don't think I have seen a 5.0 or higher since I installed the Fabspeed airkit.
Don't know. Maybe I just have a fast car. I also have the 5 spoke. Someone indicated that they are less weighty than the other wheel options. From my experience, wheel weight/unsprung weight can make a little difference when talking 0 - 60 also.
Here is a recent snap shot of G-Tech I did to compare my 964 cabriolet which weighs a whole lot more than my C2. I have dropped a lot of money on engine upgrades on the 964 and am real happy with the 964 #s which were 5.2 to 5.4 range before my recent head work, lightweight valve work and exhuast mods.
The last two are the 996.
Well i dont know but i feel like blaming the pzero's for a loss of some tenths of seconds.. i just dont like them and wish to go back to ps2 or better yet, ps3's..
wael
Hey Doug! Hold on!!! You got a 2004 C2.. that's about 20hp and torquier than mine.. That explains some gap, if not the major gap.. Moreover, your 964 is a RUF! (what's that translate into power and torque?!)
I've run with khaled's 2002 (tip-c4) and Fadz's 2002 (6sp-c4s). Our runs were always starting at about 100km/hr till 2++km/hr (I mean not standing starts). They've always managed to pass on me due to their increased engine power.
