This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Stationary as well as rolling (like from behind as the car takes off) away under power. I think this is going to be my next purchase but I want to hear some GOOD sound clips. Strange that the GHL website doesn't have any sound clips. TIA!

POST 2Original post

GHL should be on my doorstep when i get home....will definately post some clips.....i believe "carlooz" has the GHL setup and has sound clips both at new and 500 miles later.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Excellent, thanks! If you wouldn't mind, I would like to see the exhaust as it was delivered and the parts that came with it. TIA!

POST 4Original post

click on my sig for the sound clips, i'll try for an acceleration run today but weather is not so good right now. the only parts you get are the left and right muffler, that's it. you reuse your clamps and tips if you didn't order the GHL tips.

POST 5Original post

For the first, time I stood back while someone blasted off in my car through 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear this weekend. The GHL's are LOUD under load! There was a nice raspy sound between 2nd and 3rd. You could never imagine what they sound like if you haven't witnessed them from outside...

POST 6Original post

Silver, "LOUD" as in louder than any other Porsche exhaust you've heard? I was under the impression that the GHL were actually tame compared to the rest of them. I suppose i will find out tomorrow. let me know. regards

POST 7Original post

Well, pretty darn loud, and like I said, i didn't realize it until I stood behind the car. I think it's as loud as PSE, though not as high pitched or raspy. Cruising on the freeway, it sounds pretty close to stock, no resonance whatsoever...

POST 8Original post

Silver, you just put a huge smile across my face, and probably helped keep me married. thanks sir

POST 10Original post

I agree with silver996. My friends are jealous. The GHL sounds great. No resonance whatsoever. My wife and 1 year old were in the car the other day and my wife said it didn't sound much different from stock inside. I cracked open the window and she said, oh...it does sound different now.

POST 11Original post

oalvarez, you are welcome, glad I could contribute to your marital bliss Don't forget to give your first impressions of the GHL, and make sure to hear it from the outside with someone else driving away...
