i rarely use my hi beams so i'm still debating whether or not to change them out but hey, it's only another 80 bucks.

Anyone have any input on the new halogen upgrade light bulbs, Sylvania Silverstar for example. For about $80 you can replace low and high beams with these units. Just thinking of an alternative to Litronics with all the thefts recently.

i got the piaa h7 extreme white bulbs from tirerack 77/pair. they work great and do NOT look ricer blue. i do notice a slight increase in the output of the low beams (hi beams unchanged) but it may be due to the white light. from what i've heard/read litronics/xenons have a rather abrupt cutoff where the halogens have a more gradual cutoff.

i decided to try the low beams first. i wasn't sure how it well it would work/look. i rarely use my hi beams so i'm still debating whether or not to change them out but hey, it's only another 80 bucks. they definitley look white NOT blue.

you may want to contact IceShark on the 944 and 951 lists - he is a lighting expert and has extensive, first hand knowledge concerning many replacement lamps on the market. when it comes to lighting, he IS the man.
