Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Just north of Gold Beach on Hwy 1, I ran into a very windy storm, boy!

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Please give me your opinion on the C4S. I've read somewhat mixed reviews on the C4S (for example, that the differences are not worth the extra price) etc. If I budget between $65-70k, would an 02C4S be the right car for me? I live in seattle, and drive to Vancouver BC alot.
Don't know about budgeting but I am SUPER pleased with my 01 C4 but it's the 01 AWD RX300 that mostly goes back and forth from Redmond to Ferndale in the wintertime.
Not that I wouldn't trust the C4 but it's those other drivers out there on I5 that give me worry.

The green one is the C4.
The C4S is worth every penny IMO. Its a great four season car thanks to the AWD and the back seat can hold a lot of stuff.
As for the price difference, it is definately worth it for the widebody, turbo brakes, turbo suspension, nicer interior, etc. I think the "curb appeal" of the C4S over a standard C2 really seals the deal too.
well worth the price of admission...however, if better than turbo looks and the many extras with the package dont appeal...well. Can't get the flanks anywhere else at this price level.
I think the C4S is well worth the $$ for all the extras plus the great looks of a wide body. I like the regular 996 coupe, but the C4S is what got me to sell my Boxster S and trade up. Gratuitous pics attached
I thoroughly enjoy my C4S. It is worth ever penny. For the money, it was the best driver car available at that time. My only peeve: If the GT3 were available at that time, I may have sprung for the GT3. For the money you have alloted, the 2002 C4S is the best Porsche you can get. You can do a search and you will find a ton of posts regarding the C4S. If you have any SPECIFIC points that make you hesitate getting the C4S, post them and you will get more answers and opinions.
Love every minute in my 03 C4S
On my last trip to VanCouver, Canada this early summer. Just north of Gold Beach on Hwy 1, I ran into a very windy storm, boy! Did I just keep on blasting thru the rain and wind, the C4S goes wherever you point, so sure footing, whenever the traffic allowed and the speed is only limited to how far I can see down the road, past just about every car in sight.
A C4S is hightly recommanded, especially for your part of the country.
The C4S is simply the most incredible autombile I have ever owned. It is also the most expensive, but I have driven many more expensive cars with far fewer gpm's (grins per mile).
Even in Southern California, this car is more unique than many other Porsche products.
Good luck with your search!
I think the c4s is a better value than if you ordered a regular c4 (if that was available still) and added in all the standard options which a c4s includes. On the looks side, the widebody is a work of art and the public thinks so too according to my survey of stares vs. when I drive my narrow body.
As for performance, the c4s is tighter and awesome on the freeway. The c2 may be more fun for around the town driving, though.
