So, if I were to do it again I'd replace the stock camber plates with aftermarket ones with the upgraded/weather-sealed bearing.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I already have the full set of Bilstein struts for the job. Does anyone have a list of the other parts they replaced while doing this job?

POST 3Original post

If you have the full set of struts, already assembled, you shouldn't need any other parts. Which Bilsteins are you using?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I don't have the struts fully assembled. I have the RoW030 suspension now; just changing struts. The list of parts I was looking for is the strut assembly (mounts, bellows, strut bearings).

POST 5Original post

You may need the foam "bump stops" for the fronts. I did when I installed the M030 on my '02 Cab; the originals were shot. Part number 996-343-301-02-M58. The bellows are another part you may need, as you suggested. I rebuilt (=cleaned, inspected and re-greased) the front mounts ("camber plates"). One of them is now starting to squeak I think. So, if I were to do it again I'd replace the stock camber plates with aftermarket ones with the upgraded/weather-sealed bearing. You can pretty easily inspect your existing bump stops and bellows on the car to assess their condition before beginning work. That way you can have any additional parts on hand when you start. Unless you're lucky, your local dealer won't stock them--mine did not--and then you're facing a few days' delay waiting for parts to arrive whilst your car is up on jack stands. Don't ask me how I learned this lesson... Good luck.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks 02TX996Cab. I put together a list of parts. Looks like I will be replacing the front and rear strut mounts, front lower bearing, bellows and bump stops.
