Congrats man, this will change your life forever, for the better.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Chad,
Congratulations! Your life will change forever it is true. I have 2 daughters myself and 1 just went away to college ($$$$$$$$) and the next just a few years away from that too. Forget the money, it's really a blessing and the joy they bring is no comparison to what you'll spend. Just hold and love them because before you know it they're all grown up. Really.
Gerard
Congratulations!! You may be surprised how much kids love riding in the P-car. It's snug and has a predictable vibration - actually very comforting to them too!
Oh yeah, about the P-Car, with my first born she didn't and doesn't care for the car since it draws too much attention (just like her mother). As such, when she got her license never mind even wanting to drive it, she didn't want to ride in it. With my youngest one, I've got to watch out. Several years ago, actually she's in 8th grade now and going back to first grade she'd asked when I'd pick her up at school if I wouldn't mind riding around the school so all of her friends could see her in it (HAHA). That was in the 911SC that I had all tricked out. Anyway, no different with the 996. Now I don't drive around the school, it's just pick her up and the guys just dig it. BUT, now I have to worry about what I used to do with my dad's car when I was a kid -- sneaked it out for joy rides or always bug him to drive it. He had the first year model of a Ford Maverick with the Grabber kit (289, etc.) and that's all I ever thought of driving. Now she's asking for a Boxter as soon as she gets a drivers' license. YIKES. Too funny how they can be so alike but yet so different. You'll see.
Chad, Congratulations, from what I can tell (1 daughter) the girls are smarter, look up to their Dad fight like hell with their Mom, and attracts boys like bee's at the hive if their Dad owns P-cars. Your Mods will take on a little different flavor now. You are about to enter the best part of your life. Best Wishes!!
Congrats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I expect in 9 months to see your beautiful daughter in your new sig. Are we going to here about mods to the baby room ? Keep us posted ; maybe we could see the sonogram.
Congrats!! Half a year ago, I was in the same place. At childbirth class, the instructor asked us to say the one burning question on our minds. Everyone else was asking "how long does it take," "does it hurt," etc. I asked "is it true? Is my life really over?" As you'll discover, the answer is yes, but it's worth it!
Haven't given our little one a ride in the p-car yet. We decided to skip the infant seat, since mom wouldn't be able to ride with us. Six more months, and we'll have him in a forward-facing seat and away we go....!!!
Coll Chad, i have 3 girls and they are all dady's girls....I will be well taken care of in my golden years...
My 7 year old said today she told her class when she can drive she wants a Porsche so she can race with dad!!!!
So it's late May 1995 and my wife is due in 4 weeks with our first daughter. I go on my annual Memorial Day motorcycle trip to Christmas Valley (central Oregon) for 2 nights (sand dunes in the middle of the desert, weird). At 6:00am after the first night, my dad who drove 5 hours, taps on the tent and says Hey buddy, youre a dad! Tenia, my wife, forgave me, not sure anyone else did.
Lets just say I had no plans to go anywhere 2 months either side of the due date for the birth of our second daughter who was 3 weeks early!
Congrats man, this will change your life forever, for the better. (They love riding in the p-car.)

Congrats! My daughter is one of the, if not the, very best things in my life (of course there is my wife and my twin boys, but you get the point). Yes, your life as you know it is over, but your new one should be much better.
Very Cool man,
I have a 6 year old girl who has been nothing short of "The Best Thing That Has Ever Happened To Me!".......
I welcome you to father hood in a few months.....
-Eli
Chad: CONGRATULATIONS!!! This is actually the beginning of a new life!... I couldn't imagine life without my 4 yr old. He's brought true meaning and purpose in my life.
And in no way ever think of getting rid of your P-car... your daughter will thank you!
congrads... life is a wonderfull thing !
... before you know it, your little one would mumble
PAPPPPA
MOMMMMMY
PORRRSCHA....
a big smile on your face .... yes?
I have 2 girls who love Porsches, have since they were very young. Its great bonding time going for a ride with daddy in the Porsche. Except my oldest wants to drive now! She wants to show the 993 C4S at a show this summer--see the illness is transmissible or genetic.
Congratulations!! Just remember that your little girl will be getting ready to go away to college (like mine is now) before you know it. Cherish every moment with her - they will pass very quickly and you can never get them back.
Congrats, I have a 6 yrs old boy and a 4 yr old girl. Both just love daddy's "race car". They only thing they hate is the "no eating / no drinking in the car" rule...come to think of even the wife hates that rule.
when you baby grow up and you need a toddler/booster seat don't get sucked in to buying the Porsche seat. Get a Brittax Raiser (sp ?). It's 100% the same minus the Porsche logo for 1/3 the price.
Congrats again. The good thing about babies and Porsche is that it's usually the ONLY hobby you'll still have time for.
