I have those but I was under the impression the Porsche instructions had a different way of installing it so that you don't have to count the threads on the cables. Is this incorrect?

Yes, actually bm just changed their instructions. Basically just unsnap them from the shift tower itself and snap onto the new shifter, no messing with threads at all.

Hey Brian, I just wrapped some electrical tape around the cable ends to mark where they go into the plastic connectors. Its really not that hard and I have yet to have a problem. Regardless, good luck with the install.
