Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just found out that my wheel lock is missing, I can't believe this! I think my temporary tags expire next week. I can either buy a new set for $60 (who knows what kind of labor they will charge) or order a new key. *stepping off soap box* "Carry on.."

POST 2Original post

temp tags meaning still "brand new"? Have you talked to the dealership (or previous owner) as to the location of the lock?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Temp tags meaning "new" to me. The dealership I bought it from is in Ohio. I spoke with him this morning(he's supposed to call me back) but I can't see him helping very much unless he can do some business with my local dealer and get me a set of locks for free.

POST 4Original post

Sorry, I must have been confused. You don't have the piece that goes on the end of the locks to remove them (security key) or you don't have the set of 4 locking bolts?

POST 5Original post

What does your temp tags expiring have to do with your key for the wheel lock? Are you needing new rubbers for your safety inspection? I got a new torque wrench, will that work? thanks again dell..

POST 6Original post

No prob Peter. Glad I could help out another member! Nice meeting up with you yesterday. Next time we will hit the links (granted your injury has subsided).

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The security key.. I just came from the dealership in Arlington and that's all taken care of now I'm waiting to finish up my inspection.. The dealership in Ohio told me to send them the bill for the wheel locks and they'll mail me a check.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They must inspect my brakes and rotors which requires them to remove the wheels. I just hope he can squeeze me back in before DMV closes. I want to get my hard tags today.

POST 9Original post
