Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is just an FYI in case someone is compiling dealership costs for repairs. I noticed some time ago that my drivers side low speed fan was not working on my 2000 c2 and wanted it to get warmer outside to see if the high speed fan was working. Well, it got warmer outside and the drivers side high speed fan does indeed work. I switched out the the drivers side low speed fan RELAY with the passenger side RELAY and that did not solve the problem. Anyway, long story short I dropped the car of at my local Porsche dealership and they called with a repair price of $388.00. I told them to take care of it and I believe they said it was a bad resistor? I'll update this thread with repair order when I get the bill. Oh, the loaner car they provided was an 08 Audi A3, umm not a fan of this car.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah the radiator fans. This winter I tested the low speed rad fans by flipping on the AC and put my and under the left and right side of the front bumper and noticed the drivers side fan was not on. Both radiator fans are supposed to come on in tandem. The high speed fans didn't engage until the Temps hit about 65 to 70 degrees outside.
