Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

23 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T200546Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, I had back surgery on Thursday so I have been laid up in my house for 5 days now. Hardest part is not being able to drive my car especially since we are having fantastic weather here (in the 80's). Don't take the little things for granted. Go for a drive!

Wishing you a speedy recovery and speedy speeding after that!

POST 4Original post

Best of luck and wishing you a speedy recovery. Been there, done that, back surgery sucks!

POST 6Original post

Here's to a full and speedy recovery... There will be plenty of great weather in the future. Rest up and get well and you'll be out carving up the twisties in the Pcar before you know it.

POST 7Original post

So get a little of that desert sunshine while sitting around catching up on your reading. Or watch "Victory by Design" for the 10th time (that's what I do on sick days) or one of those LeMans annual race compilations (my favorite is the '98 (?) race where the GT-1 chases down the Toyotas for the win. 80 degree weather is still at least 2 months away for my garage. Feel Better!

POST 8Original post

Hang in there, it will go by faster than you think! I had a hip replaced in December and I am now up to a 5 mile walk several times a week. Eat healthy and follow your physical terrorist instructions... Good luck on a speedy recovery!

POST 9Original post

I hope you recover quickly. I know what you mean about driving - my C4S has been at the mechanic for over a week. Parts have been ordered (some from Porsche in Germany), but I probably won't see it again for another week. I need a Porsche fix!!!

POST 11Original post

Hey Gonzo I had back surgery and down for the count for 6 weeks (didnt have a POrsche then). Also had a knee replacement on another occassion. (Didnt have a porsche then either)(I am 70 by the way) not simply falling apart at a young age hehe. Anyway mine was in for a gear box change and they had it for a month last summer. I was going off my rocker suffering from Porsche withdrawels. I wish you the fastest recovery. Wait till you get off the pain killers and drive the **** out of that porsche again. You are gonna be ok.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Hurdi...not sure which pain is worse, the back or the P-car withdrawls. I only have service done when I know I am going to be out of town!

POST 13Original post

I had back surgery 13 years ago and have fully recovered, then had my left hip replaced 2 weeks before I got my P-car. I chose to give up the 6-spd for a Tip as a result, but I could easily drive a manual if needed (no regrets since I commute and the Tip works well). These 2 surgeries made my recent broken leg and torn left knee seem like a walk in the park as I was back on snow in less than 2 months. You'll be just fine, even at your young age - just keep moving!

POST 14Original post

Get well soon and use this time to scan Rennlist and complete you mods wish list.

POST 15Original post

At least you are not looking to take off the snow tires in a few weeks, that always kills my back!! Good Luck and Get well soon!

POST 16Original post

Wishing you the best, a quick recovery and no more back problems. I've had back problems for years, no fun. Seems like a few times a year it would take forever to get out of bed, crawl to the bathroom, walk crooked for days with electrical shock type pain if I moved wrong. Fortunately I was able to strengthen my core by doing a lot of hiking and climbing over the last 12 years or so. No back pain at all since. I went for a topless drive yesterday in the mid 60s, snowing right now :-(

After finally owning a Porsche, I know exactly what you're talking about.

POST 19Original post

GWS! You should have a ggod friend exercise your car with your wife along so it doesn't get abused

POST 20Original post

I just got back from a spirited drive with the top down, so you have your P car fix vicariously through me! Get well soon!!

POST 21Original post

Hope you feel better and are up to a Porsche drive real soon.

POST 22Original post

Hope you are feeling better soon. I just got back from a good drive, thanks ...

POST 23 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
