Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

When I attempted to resolve this issue with them, I was given the long version of "let the buyer beware" on used cars.

Suggestion
I would highly recommend steering clear of that dealership.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Tip and alot of miles (over 30K) could be the reason in this economy? I've seen several with 6spd and low miles go for high 90's to low 100's so this doesn't seem to far fetched.
everytime I see a post like that and start salivating (especially GT3s for 60k), I think about it more, look at my car, and realize that mine is just fine.
just fine I say...
just fine
just fine
John in Norcal, the ad you posted is for Mercedes of Pleasanton. I would highly recommend steering clear of that dealership. They introduced me to colored wax . I bought a SL600 two years ago for my wife, off their used car showroom. It was gorgeous. A month later when I waxed it, I discovered it had hundreds of rock chips all over the top surfaces of the car. They had previously been filled in with black colored wax. When I attempted to resolve this issue with them, I was given the long version of "let the buyer beware" on used cars.
Dresler, your car is just fine (I know what you mean).
You guys are trying really hard to get me like my Honda, but it "ain't gonna happen!" I may have to drive this for the rest of my life, but I don't have to like it!
Tim, I wish you lived closer. I would be happy to loan you mine for a Saturday afternoon. It sounds like you need a fix. What are you going to do to celebrate your pending 10,000th post? A test drive at the local Porsche dealer might be fun (or torture).
Thanks for the offer Mark, That means almost as much as actually being able to drive it. Note I said "almost."
Yes, a trip to the dealer would be fun, but ptobably more torture than fun.
Yes I would. I could probably put a few additional scratches in them too!
