Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all,
I have a '02 996 C2 with the OEM 18 in. wheels & Michellin Pilot Sport 225/40ZR-18 f & 285/30zr-18 r Tires. I upgraded to H&R springs and Bilstein HD, that made my car more stable & w/. good lower stance. Also I ordered a front lip spoiler to provide more stability to my car with speed. I'm planing to participate in X and DE events, but at the same time I want a set up that I could drive on the street. Some questions came to me:
-Could I combine my H&R springs with the M030 stabilizer bars?
-What could happen if I use only in the back the M030 bar, in order to reduce understeer?
-Do you know, where I can purchase those bars?
-What type of alignment and tire pressure do you recommend for best handling?
Best regards,
JM
Oh boy, here we go again!
1. Yes
2. Not sure
3. Sunset Porsche, FVD, Pelican Parts, .......
4 a. Try 32 front 39 rear as a starting point
4 b. Stock alignment settings are a good starting point

Just typed a long response, hit back and lost it all so here's cliff notes...
1) Yes. I assume you mean the Rest Of World (ROW) bars which are slightly larger than US Spec (you can do a search for exact diameter/thickness values)
2) Yes but I would use both front and rear bars. From my experience the ROW M030 sport suspension understeer less than factory GT3. Do you know the spring rates of your H&R suspension?
3) My first call and only for OEM parts is always Suncoast Motorsports (porsche dealer) in florida.
4) You will be severely camber limited in the front of your car. IIRC the most one can achieve is -0.5degs camber. You can purchase GT3 strut hats or GT3 lower control arms to gain more camber. I would also run 0 toe front and 8degs caster. I run -2.4degs front camber on my car and and limited to 7.8degs caster, 0 toe. Rear I run slightly less camber -2.0degs and 0.18degs toe in. I am running factory GT3 suspension and sway bars.
