Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I thought it was the MAF but I'll also check the oil cap.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Ok I just wanted to vent. Yesterday at 5 o'clock eastern time I finally picked up my car after 5 weeks of waiting for a new transmission diagnosis, shipping, repair and $7,500. Everything seems fine with that...... Today, out of the blue the CEL comes on. As far as I can tell nothing changed in the operation and I wasn't doing anything silly with the car just Pop, CEL! Well, it's a steady light so I guess tonight or tomorrow I'll get over to Autozone and bum their OBD II reader. I hope it is nothing but it's a little annoying to be without the car so long and then have another issue to worry about. I'm sure the tranny and the CEL are not connected.
Oh, that and Navtech and Porsche don't play nice on map updates. Navtech has nothing newer than a 2001.1 map for my 2000 996 and blames Porsche. Guess who Porsche blames. Meanwhile, I can't find my house. lol.
I'll keep you updated.
Go north on the Northway to exit 9 and take a left. If you hit GE, you've gone too far. All kidding aside, sorry about the CEL issue and hope it's nothing too serious. I went to Guilderland HS and Niskayuna was one of our rivals on the soccer team. I also had a bunch of buddies from their ski team. What a small world!
Small world indeed! I hope you are enjoying Colorado.
I'm a transplant from Northern Westchester county but I've been here since 94. My wife went to Niskayuna HS. I actually know one person who went to Guilderland. Her name was Kim. Well, I guess it still is Kim! lol
Ok, so I did the OBD II thing and it is showing codes P1130 and P1128 which I am being told is the Manufacturer Control Fuel Air Metering. I assume that is the air flow sensor in the throttle body because just before I brought the car into the shop for the Transmission repair I installed the Fabspeed cold air mod and filter (I needed the extra 123hp). Any suggestions out there?
