I have some spacers that I used with my old wheels to keep them off the TT calipers.

I am running stock wheels, but for a more aggressive stance should I put wheel spacers in, to pull those rear tires out of the wheel wells a little more ?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Great forum!!
I have an 04 (C4S) daily driver and I run her hard everyday.
Love the car!!
I am running stock wheels, but for a more aggressive stance should I put wheel spacers in, to pull those rear tires out of the wheel wells a little more ?
Will it adversely effect the handling ?
Thanks,
Mac
I think you can but if the spacers are too thick it can affect camber and tyre wear and also wheel bearing are more prone to failure. Not so thick spacers should be OK i.e. up to 20mm.
Just keep in mind that increasing the track at the rear of the car (the width) and not the front, you will increase understeer no matter what the alignment does.
I've got 5mm spacers in the front and 17mm in the rear. These are original Porsche Tequipment. They really enhance the stance of the car, fill out the wheel wells, expecially when combiined with sport suspension. Doubt they improve handling or diminsh it, purely for a meaner more agressive stance.
So would 5mm in the front and 17mm in the rear be safe on a stock c2? I don't plan on replace the suspension or adding new springs anytime soon.. would I still need to get the car re-aligned?
5 & 17 should be no problem on a stock C2. I am running 14 & 15 (H&R) and really like how it looks. It looked good with the stock ride height, but 10x better now that the car is lowered.
5mm and 17mm are perfect for a C2. Will probably work great on a c4s as well, suggest you ask your local Porsche tequipment dealer.
You don't need to do anything to the suspension if u don't want to and it will look great, not sure if u need realigning, I had mine done with the suspension so I did realign
I have some spacers that I used with my old wheels to keep them off the TT calipers. PM me if anyone is interested in buying them cheap. I think the rears are 10mm and fronts are 5 or 7.
