My warranty company noticed I have a K&N filter and said I've got to revert to the stock air filter becaue it's an illegal mod and voids my warranty. I honestly have no problem going back since the K&N filter ruined my MAF once already. Does anyone have their stock Air Filter housing available for sale?

I've not heard of that one before. Can you get them to define "illegal mod" and get them to send you a written copy of what modfications they define as "illegal" and why? Did they inform you of the list of things that would nullify your warranty when you purchased it?

Sure, I could fight them on it. But honestly I've heard so many bad things about K&N air filters that I'd rather put the old air box back if I can. Right now my car's up on the rack getting the lifters replaced so I figured I could this as well. If anyone has an airbox they want to get rid of please let me know, thanks!

I ruined 2 MAF with the stock airbox already with the stock paper filter element. I highly doubt the problem is with K&N filter itself but more likely the poor MAF.
