Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm thinking of having my new acquisition protect with a clear bra before I ship it to Germany. Any pros or cons? Are you satisified with yours?

POST 2Original post

Personally, I've always gone with no bra. Sorry, I couldn't resist. Seriously though - I don't have a clear bra and have not had any problems, although my car is not a daily driver and I am careful where I drive it.

POST 3Original post

I had a 3M clear mask installed on my hood, mirrors, and door edges. It looks great and you can't really see it unless you look very carefully. The hood film goes 24 inches high from the front bumper. My car is black and it helps A LOT!!!

POST 5Original post

My last two "nice cars" have had them and I've vowed to never have a "nice car" without clear bra ever again.

POST 7Original post

If you want RUF can put it on for you here in Germany. I think he told me it was around 800-900 Euros.

POST 8Original post

Wayne, it's nice to see yours has US legal bumpers.

Yup, I quite liked the contrast.

POST 10Original post

I have both the 3M and the Ventureshield on my C4S. The VentureShield is way more flexible, so easier for the complicated bumper. Recently, 3M purchased VentureShield--I hope they continue to offer both polymers. I like both. If I had a white car I would lean towards VentureShield, but for other colors both are nice. VentureShield seems to be smoother.
