Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I installed the X74 on my C4S Cab as well, and I love it.

The larger issue is bottoming out on pot holes because the car is so low, but, again, nothing to truly worry about unless you plan to drive in horrible conditions.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I installed the X74 suspension last week. The car looks and rides 100x better. The X74 is stiffer than stock, for sure, but nothing to be concerned about. The larger issue is bottoming out on pot holes because the car is so low, but, again, nothing to truly worry about unless you plan to drive in horrible conditions. It corners significantly better. The benefits far outweigh the burdens, in my view. Not even close.
As far as looks, it now sits 40 mm lower in the front and 30 mm lower in the back. A much more aggressive stance. Here are some pics.

The bottom line: This suspension should be standard! I highly reccomend.

I was thinking the same thing?
What is the standard suspension on my C4S Cab?
I really want to lower my car I'm just afraid to because I do so much driving in NYC...
If it is the same as the Coupe, the M030 sport chassis is standard. If you don't want to lower your car too much, you can always go for the
ROW M030
which lowers the car approximately 20 mm in front and 10 mm at rear.
GBG - outstanding!
I've had mine on my coupe for about 6 months and I love it more every day. I agree it really makes you wonder what Porsche was thinking with the stock C2 suspension. I see you are in Westchester - hope you have a chance to take it to Lime Rock or Watkins Glen for some fun!
Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated. I'm very happy with the car.
By the way, excuse my ignorance, but what is "negative camber" and how does it impact the car's driving? I used the recommended alignment (
http://www.garlic.com/~ljcook/images/alignment.gif
) for the X74, so I'm not clear what you guys mean. Thanks.
Installation was about $600, plus another $200 for alignment. Check Gert for cost at Carnewal.com.
Look at the two pics of your car that show it on an angle. Look at the front wheels, in the after pic it looks as if the top of the wheel is tilted slightly in (neg. camber). This can be adjusted by the dealer.
If the alignment was done properly, you should be just fine. The stock front camber is 0 degrees while the X74 spec is - 30 minutes (- 1/2 degree). In the above picture, it looks like you have a lot more negative camber in front. In fact, it looks more than the rear. Usually, you want more negative in the rear than in the front. Now, there is nothing wrong with more negative camber as long as you drive aggressively. If you drive mostly in a straight line and don't take corners fast enough, you'll end-up with accelerated inner tread wear.

Thanks Viken and Riad. I am fairly certain that the alignment was done properly, so I'm not sure if I truly have negatve camber up front or if it's just an illusion from the pics. (My driveway is not really flat, so that may be playing tricks on the eye). Here are a few more similar pics, if that helps:
In any case, you now have given me an excuse to take corners hard, just as a precaution.
RJMD: I live in Westchester, where the roads are not winning any awards either. The X74 has actually made me a better driver-- I drive slower now on the "side" roads (where there are potholes), and I corner much better on the nicely paved Routes and Highways (where I tend to drive, on occasion, over 55 mph
).
I recommend you go for it.

Jmac: Post some pics with the x74 and 19s! Must look great.
With recent addition of TT front bumper and the X74, I need to let my bank account re-charge.
But it's always fun to think about the next mod.
Gary, please, get a real camera and post some serious high quality pics of your beautiful car
I think he deserve it, it looks GREAT with the this new set up, congrats.

Viken - Great description of "caster" in your link.
