They are a little on the expensive side for just about everything, cars (new and used) as well as service.

I've used the Auto Gallery too, and they're pretty slow too.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Has anybody had any experience, good or bad, with these dealerships for service; Rusnak Porsche in Pasadena or The Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills? Thanks.
Tom
I've had good experience with Rusnak Porsche for my 993. Fixed a valve cover oil leak under goodwill when I first bought the car - car was out of warranty and was not purchased from them. Also fixed my jammed CD changer at no charge. Mike Barcelona is my service advisor there.
Don't rule out Downtown LA - this somewhat nondescript dealer has a super head mechanic, Dennis, and I especially like Valentine as a service advisor. I have been using them for 11 years and have been quite happy.

He used to work there and he would be able to provide you with some sort of insider information as to service etc....
Drop him an E-mail,

I've had a bad experience w/ Rusnak. Got the recall for seats in the mail. Called Rusnak for an appointment to change out the seats and they told me the soonest they can fit me in is 2 month later!!!

I called Rusnak service dept several times - long distance- to ask about mechanical and service history for a car I wanted to buy. Their service managers refused to talk to anybody. Only could talk to the secretary. I called several other dealers all over the country to ask questions, and they all spent a lot of time answering my questions. I called auto gallery about a car and they called me back several times. And sent info and pictures.
Well that sucks!
I would be upset too..... I recently made some calls to get some history on my vehicle from Bromos Racing (Florida) and though they couldn't give me a lot of history they were polite. They gave me the information they did have and seemed amazed that a customer in California ended up with one of their production B59 Porsche...

I've had good and bad experiences with Rusnak. Their main problem is that they take forever to do anything, and they're too busy. I've used the Auto Gallery too, and they're pretty slow too. The best service I've had was at Beveryly Hills, but they're too pricey. My first choice is now Downtown L.A. They're not as busy as most other shops and have the best prices.
i have had super service from the guys at Rusnak, Rick/Mike specifically in service. they installed my Row M030 and also did my 45k service. i was very pleased with their timeliness, service, and cleanliness of shop/cars. i can't speak for the tenure of any of their mechanics. beautiful cashier to boot.
Used to live in the area of Rusnak. They are a little on the expensive side for just about everything, cars (new and used) as well as service. They are a pro outfit, but I don't like dealers with their nose slightly pointed upwards. We've bought one car from them long ago and looked several times since.
I just had the 30K service on my Boxster last week at Rusnak. I've always had first class service there.
Rick Corbin in service is fantastic. The mechanics I've talked to have been extremely knowledgeable. They're always busy, so don't expect to call up and have your car serviced the next day, although if it's a real emergency they'll go out of their way to help you. Very supportive of the local Porsche clubs
