Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was lucky enough to be in Italy last week and drove (in the passenger seat) a Ferrari Enzo, named after the founder. Only 400 cars made. My Italian friend (driving) got us up to 175 mph on the test track. What a car! I'm all smiles after the drive.

POST 2Original post

Nice. Were you on the Monza track? Also, a minor correction, 399 were made.

POST 3Original post

He should add a rear spoiler (wing) and a hood scoop! Make it stand out from all the other Enzo's. hahahahah j/k of course....that looks sweet!

POST 4Original post

My understanding is that they originally planned to build 399 (Ferrari's theory being you should build 1 less than you think you can sell), but then there were many long time repeat customers who weren't going to be able to get one, so they increased production by 50, to 449.

POST 5Original post

I've heard that too, but the numbers were 349 to 399. Depending on where you look and what you read, some still have it quoted as 349 produced and some say 399.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The Ferrrari folks themselves told me the number is 402, up from 399. The productrion is not yet complete, meaning that they haven't yet built 402, but they currently intend to build only 402 Enzos. Also, interesting note: you MUST be a prior Ferrari owner to purchase the Enzo. So, sorry Kirby-- I know you had your checkbook out. (Not sure, but I think the "msrp" is about $600k). My 911 looks like a go-cart compared to this beast! Gary

POST 8Original post

349 to 399 would make sense, since they made 349 F50s. MSRP is around $600k, but in reality they are going for around 1.2M. Here's a nice one for sale www.blackenzo.com

POST 9Original post

Yeah to keep them out of the hands of the brokers that want to turn a pretty penny on them. Very smart.

POST 11Original post

My wife won't let me get a track car until we get a bigger garage.

POST 12Original post

eric, tell your wife your can park your track car in my place.
