Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am probably moving back to Toronto next month, and if I decide to register my car in Ontario, I'll need to do a few things to the car.
Speedometer face change from mph to kph
daytime running lights
anything else?
Has anyone else done this? I know that the tax and duty will be ridiculous. What dealerships or independant shops in Toronto do you recommend?
Thanks!!
i deal exclusivly with 1 of either 2 places:
1) downtown fine cars (porsche dealer)
2) solaroli motorsports (family owned and operated, friendly service, fantastic work, extensive knowledge)
when u come down, give me a shout.
Hi Paul,
I'd recommend G-Tek Automotive on Cranfield road. Their phone number there is [phone removed]. The service manager there (Dominic) is the ex-service manager from Downtown Fine Porsche (and they charge less than what the Downtown guys charge).
From what I understand, both the speedo face change and the DRL change is pretty simple.
Where do you find out more about this place? They do not seem to have a website and info is scarce.
(*Side note...I heard from a friend that they have had a dark blue 993 TT sitting in their back lot for about 2 years now. The story I heard was that the owner of the car just has not had the time to pick it up. I would make time!!)
yeah..he packed up and moved 2 florida..but i wouldn't goto him even if he came back.
a number of car owners (elvis stoicko included) have accused him of swiping part soff cars and overbilling for work not performed.
i havn't had any probelms with him..but those are very serious alligations that i wouldn't take lightly unless some evidence comes to light to prove otherwise.
Paul,
You don't have to do the speedo change to Km/h if you have the digital display that you can set to km/h. The only thing you need to add is DRL which is about $200.
I was told that the numbers on the face needed to show km/h as well as the digital readout. As for the daytime running lights, it's not too big a job (although I would rather not have to do it anyway).
Well....as of right now he has taken our ENTIRE CAR!!! So I am pretty motivated to find this clown!! Any help locating him is greatly appreciated and secrecy is guaranteed. I just want our car back.
