Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Was it '02 or '03 that the 996 was enhanced?

POST 2Original post

The facelift happened in 02 (except the 996TT was introduced in 01 with the 02+ facelift).

POST 4Original post

Paul, How was the 996 enhanced in 05? If you mean replacment, that was a cheap shot

POST 5Original post

No cheap shots, I simply mean that the 997 is still a 996.maybe a little polished!

POST 6Original post

Does the 01 996TT have a 3.6 engine or a 3.4 like a 2001 C2?

POST 7Original post

It has a 3.6 liter motor, however, it is not the same motor as the Carrerra. The GT3, Turbo, and GT2 all use a much more robust motor...
