I bought the cheaper cover from suncoast and use it in my garage as well and have been happy with it,I make sure car is clean before covering.

Get an indoor cover that is soft and stretches. California car cover is the best. I would only use the cover if car is stored for months. For weekend driver, I would get a duster with detailing spray to keep it spotless between washes. For those that want the best outdoor cover, California car cover has the storm proof cover. It is a single ply soft material that keeps water and sun out. Best cover there is. Silver guard and evolution are decent covers but they aren't the best. I have had it all.
