Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Install awe cats' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Install awe cats' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

JUst installed AWE Cats... Sound is great...Much larger pipe than stock. The X-Pipes tube was smaller than stock, which didn't give a good seal to stock cans. Sound is louder and better than X-pipes. I tried Fab X-pipes and had a lag on take off. The AWE are very good quality ... nice setup.

I remember your post on the x-pipes when you got them installed but I forgot if you got a tuned ECU after your x-pipe install?
Also were you not able to exchange your X-pipes to Fabspeed for their cat versions?
Is 'negative hp loss' a double negative?
I never heard that about x-pipes but I recently went with two separate cats as well (from Cargraphic) and couldn't be happier.
Like anything, depends on your chosen piece for comparison. Those x-pipes that end up with flow meeting flow head on will show a loss. Those that provide for more merging will end up with exhaust scavenging and a horsepower plus.
"During R&D we fab'ed up some crossover pipes that were a few different diameters and some X-pipes a few different diameters. We established our dyno baseline with the car in stock form then started changing parts. All of the X variants lost power or made no power. The cross over configuration we sell now is what actually made a gain. Simple as that.
For a while we even sold the X-pipe with a disclaimer that it lost power. I only sold I think two sets. We eventually discontinued them. "
