Just signed up for the Florida Crown region PCA event at Roebling on the 19th and 20th. Last time at Roebling I took my 325, which was fun but I'm looking forward to opening up the 911 this time! Only dilemma is that I have a lot of tread left on my BFG KDW2 street tires, which are loud and I hate them, but actually perform pretty well at autocross and on the track. I also have a set of BFG G-Force R1-S tires that are awesome but I worry about wearing them out since I need them to last through this year's autox season. Which ones should I run? I'm going to put the car on the trailer either way just to save miles driving it all the way up there and back. Also going to put my Pagid Yellows on for the first time woo!

Take both and do some tire testing. Why waste Pagids on street tires?

Well actually the Pagids disintegrated from being stored in the humid garage...haven't used them in at least a year or so because of deployment, so I'll be getting some Ferodo DS2500s. I did discover during my brake changeout attempt that I really need some new pads because I am just about to wear the sensors! What do you guys do with the damper pad things? Do you actually buy new ones for track pad changeouts? Think I'm going to drive on street tires Saturday and R-comps Sunday.
