Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My old OPC in the UK was awesome, great everything, took me into the shop to show me the different stuff they did in the service, provided me with a cayenne when car was in for servicing, made me a cup of tea as soon as I walked in the door, free track days
My OPC in Nashville is crap in comparison
act as though they can't be bothered with you business and just told me they have a deal with enterprise for a rental car when my car is being serviced - WHEN I'M PAYING NOT FAR OFF $1000 FOR A SERVICE!!!
I think all the OPC's are owned by Porsche in the UK, maybe they need to do the same over here
is this typical of USA OPC's or am I just expecting too much from dealers in a country which is renowned for customer service?
well, i doubt you will get tea here in usa. but some do provide cheap sludge like coffee.
not every dealer is bad but many are. you just have to find someone you canwork with. most of the dealer i frequent will provide loaner cars, but you need to let them in WAY in advance that you are taking your car in for service.
It's location specific and very vaiable. My dealer gives me a Boxster, Cayenne, Jag or MB as a loaner with every service. Or, they come over to pick up the car and leave the loaner. Others will give you a rental from Enterprise. Check around your area for another Porsche service. It's American free enterprise. If customers leave due to poor service, service will improve.

What you are saying is, IMO, not that unusual. Porsche service is less than it used to be and will probably be even less as time goesn. What is really a sad thing is that they appear not to care what very loyal customers are saying about their product and that is not just here in the USA...its all over. I base this on the numerous complaints I have read from others on this and other boards about Porsche service.

where in ohio? sounds like a great dealer
I usually get a semi-nauseous feeling when going to the dealer. Perhaps, like dogs and horses, they sense this and treat me accordingly
Frankly, the only time I ever get treated super well at the dealer is when I step out of my 996 and walk over to the new car section.
And, yes, this is quite different from the way that I remember being treated in Belgium at the dealerships of your more expensive type of cars.

P.S. For those who figure me to look like the Inspector Columbo type; I don't. I may look frumpled, but I don't have that one-eye-thing going...
