Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

as much as this may be a great deal, i'm passing because the seller keeps changing his tune about sizes---i don't need to save the money that badly, and I don't need to get hosed.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

There's a sale going on for Champion Monolite 19's, claiming they're for a turbo. After several days, he posts these sizes:
8.5 x 19" offset 40 mm 10 x 19" offset 45 mm
Is that right for a widebody? I thought the rear was supposed to be 19x11.
Don't know about 19's for a turbo, but definitely the rear's should be 11's on an 18 inch rim. When I bought my 996 turbo hollow twists on Ebay, there was some initial confusion on my part while shopping since turbo may also refer to a 993 and not always a 996.
i've been watching this auction closely and he doesn't really show photos of the actual wheels just pics of the wheels on turbos, and the measurements are definitely wrong for a 996 turbo, also only 1 feedback, i'd be careful.
i think the offssets are right for a turbo but the width is a little narrow. should be 11" on the rear.
regarding the offsets, my 19X10" sportecs have ET50 stamped on the insides and i use 285s on the rears. at this offset, tire width and my car's low stance, i had to roll the fenders. i think an offset any smaller will lead to the wheels sticking out of the fenders.
The seller's sizes (F or R) don't match anything on Champion's website:
http://www.championmotorsport.com/wheels/rg5_19.htm
The rears are most likely 19x11ET40 and not 19x10ET45. The OE 11s for the TTs are ET63 which is almost an inch difference in offsets. Plus, 285s don't look like that on 10" rims. I think they are 11s.
The sizes are stamped on the backsides of the spokes if the seller can look. If any of you guys are bidding, I'd ask for pictures of the sizes stamped in the spokes before making payment so you can make sure they fit. Of course, the current price is about what the fronts are worth alone, so maybe you guys already figured this out.
as much as this may be a great deal, i'm passing because the seller keeps changing his tune about sizes---i don't need to save the money that badly, and I don't need to get hosed.
A C4S with turbo twist wheels have 8.5x18et50 front and 11 or 10 x18 et 45 rear(TT will always have 11 rear, std C4S with tips often came with 10 rear). The Sport techno wheels have 8.5x18et50 front and 11x18 et63 rear with 17mm spacers stock.
