Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I replaced the whole elbow which has a new o-ring or you can be cheap and try to hunt down the odd size o-ring.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, does anyone know how this vertical vacuum hose seals with the L-shape elbow? I removed the gray c-clip and pulled out the hose and expected to find an o-ring somewhere inside the elbow. Instead, I found a hard plasic bush inside. Maybe hardened-o-ring? Definitely feels more like hard plastic tough. Any ideas? Cannot find this hose and elbow in the porsche parts catalogue either... The leak comes and goes when I wiggle the hose so defintiely it could seal better. TIA IMAG0634.jpg

If it's from the same elbow, there's an o-ring inside which is hardened and leaks. Just pull out the grey c-clip and pull the hose straight up to disengage. I replaced the whole elbow which has a new o-ring or you can be cheap and try to hunt down the odd size o-ring.
