Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Friends...I am used to polishing the car and giving her a good waxing after a good wash. I bought this new Turtle Wax Liquid Ice Polish (clear liquid Polymer) and noticed that it gives the car a very nice shine. Having said that, I am not too sure it is a polish...what is it and do I need to follow it with a wax?

POST 2Original post

From what I've read, it's a synthetic polish. I use Rejex, also a synthetic polish. I put natural carnuba over it w/o any issues. HOWEVER, others might caution you about a fish-eye effect if you layer some wax brands over some synthetic polish brands.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
