Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Do I need to disconnect the cables from the battery and only have the Battery Tender cables hooked up to the battery?

Fill the tires up to 50 pounds and if you have some extra old carpet cut 8 14x14 patches and place two stacked on top of each other under each tire.

Do you recommend Dry Gas or Stabil Fuel Stabilizer in the tank?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I don't think for that amount of time you need to do anything. Maybe hook up a battery tender to it or something but that would be about it. Maybe start it up once a month and let it idle for 10-15 minutes.
Stabil is probably overkill. I used it when I stored my other car for a year or more. Seemed to work OK...but for 4 months or so probably don't need it.
Fill the car with Gas...really top it off. On your way back from the gas station run the air conditioner full blast this will allow the seals one more cycle and prevent their drying out.
Wash car and dry everything real well. Drive dry your brakes so the light coat of rust doesn't form on the moist rotors.
Put on a light coat of your favorite wax.
Fill the tires up to 50 pounds and if you have some extra old carpet cut 8 14x14 patches and place two stacked on top of each other under each tire.
Either keep the battery on a Porsche charger (about 90.00$ at your local Dealer). Or disconnect and remove the battery and store on a piece of wood or thick cardboard away from flame or other ignition source. Make sure you have your radio codes before you disconnect.
Open the engine hood and disconnect light. Close engine hood but do not latch.
Open the trunk and disconnect light. Close trunk but do not latch. This is just in case your battery charger fails or you remove your battery otherwise you'll not be able to open either compartment.
If you have rodents set traps around perimeter of car and cover tail pipes with a plastic zip baggy and lightly tape around. Decon works good but not if you have kids or pets.
Close all windows and cover the car with sheets or cloth car cover.
Leave a key with a trusted friend in the event of an emergency with instructions how to ready the car.
Baby will love you for taking such good care of her and she'll be so happy to see you when it comes time to wake her up...

One more thing to add.....
Pull the 30amp fuse (3rd row from the top second from the left).
Its the ignition fuse. Since your leaving your hood and engine bay open you will disarm your imobiliser.......best bet to prevent driveaway theft. When I go on holiday I even put a dud fuse in its place and take out teh fuse instruction booklet
Hey I bought the Battery Tender Plus 12volt 1.25amp. Do I just attach the pos and neg to the battery terminals and plug into the outlet and there I go?
Can I leave the Battery Tender in the trunk?
Do I need to disconnect the cables from the battery and only have the Battery Tender cables hooked up to the battery?
Thanks!
