First of all I want to thank you all out there for your help, information and interest/ concer while I was looking for my car. I got a 04 996 Cab (Basalt Black/Black). The car is just beyond fantastic, and I'm glad to become part of the team. I own an accounting practice, and with "The Season" upon me It's going to be much more fun seeing my clients this year. Looks like I will be making many more house callls!! Thanks again to all of you, it's great being part of this "fraternity." Pics will be on the way. Gary

Gary, Congratulations, I too just rejoined the 996 club. I purchased a 2003 C4 Cab, Triple Black on 12/23. Although it is a garage queen since we have about 2 feet of snow. Hope you enjoy yours. Merry Christmas

Thank you all. Yea, my garage never looked cleaner. My son and I worked on the clean-up. It was like getting the room ready for a new baby. The car is absolutely fantastic. A couple of comments. Relative to break-in, any particular concerns. I did read the post about break-in. My dealer said that as long as it is not extended periods above 4200, don't worry. Also, how often do you check (and replace oil). Thanks again, Garyl
