Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I recently upgraded to Litronics, and I want to sell my old front headlights. They are in very good condition, no discoloration, or scratches. What are they worth? Some guidance appreciated.

POST 2Original post

I paid $300 for the 996 clear headlights now on my Boxster, but I got a good deal. I would think up to $500 for the pair. Any more than that you get in the new price range.

POST 3Original post

I bought a pair of brand new take offs, on Ebay for $130 and then sold the old (100k miles) discolored ones for 180. I couldn't believe they were bid up that high. I can't figure Ebay pricing. I guess it just depends on how many people are looking for an item at any given time. My description of the old ones was correct. i even said they look pretty bad, but the lights work. The only advice i could give is put them on ebay, start the bid at $1.00 on a 10 day auction, and see what happens. If you start the price high or set a high reserve, you won't get many bids. There are a lot on there most of the time.

POST 5Original post

If they are the clear ones (no yellow lens at bottom and corner just yellow bulb inside) I'm interested.
