Can the Agency linkage be used with a Porsche OEM SSK?

Lsu1981 - do a search here, we have sold alot to members. I run one myself obviously. Big difference in how precise the shift is.
gravedgr - even normal driving you will notice and appreciate the shifting with the AP linkage. You can get away without it, but the solid gear transition is more apparent.
alevine - yes it can be used with the OEM. It replaces the OEM piece directly. Stronger, less flex, wont break or wear out.
Install is very easy. The B&M comes with full instructions and the AP piece drops right in during install.

I bought the B&M in-car shifter and the AP linkage last fall from Vivid. Easy install. The B&M shortens the shift throw. The AP takes alot of the slop out of the feel you have with the OEM plastic linkage, which at 35K on my car was quite worn and loose. I recommend the AP when you do the SSK.
Also, the price Dan is offering now is lower than what I paid last fall so it is a pretty good deal.
I'm in for both the shifter and linkage if we can get enough people. I've heard so much about the damn SSK that I have to get it and try it myself. I feel like I'm missing out on something.

Yeah, a few. I did mine last summer and a couple of weekends ago, we did 996Convert's. Instructions are included (or can be downloaded). I think it's a great and very easy DIY.

Mind you, I wonder what the difference is between Agency's product and EVOMS version (Shiftlink). EVOMS' is a bit more money at $119 (without a discount).

I received the B&M Short Shifter with Agency Power Shift Linkage a couple of weeks ago and with the crappy weather going on today on LI I figured it was now or wait till boating season ended. Soooo...
It took barely an hour and it was my first semi-major p-car mod. I think taking off the shifter was the hardest (and longest) part of the job.
