I have always ran 93 octane for all 70000 miles, maybe a bad tank of gas?

I hear knocking upon cold start up. It lasts for maybe a minute until the engine warms up then is gone and the engine sounds perfect and runs strong. Any ideas on what this could be? I have always ran 93 octane for all 70000 miles, maybe a bad tank of gas? Any ideas would be helpful, thanks in advance.

woody, 15w50 is fine, particularly in warm weather.
