Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 6Original post

Alex, haven't seen pics of your car in awhile. Beautiful!

POST 7Original post

Miko......lip width is not really a wheel spec......suggest you start with 1.)what size tire you want to run and 2.)where you want your outer rim & tire to be 'positioned' relative to your fender. Then, given that you are talking 8J, 9J, 10J, or whatever, this will give you your desired offset. Pic a wheel style you like (and I' assuming you like reverse drop flat lip rims), and then ask reseller what lip depth that offset will get you......it will vary from style to style. FYI.........narrow body 996 rear fenders can easily handle down to 50mm offset (or a tad lower) on 10J 18" wheels (with OE rubber). Stay with 18s.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the info, fellas. Trying to really make a decision soon as to what to get. Really like your wheels, Alex. Just curious, do your rear wheels stick out of the fenders? Miko
