Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

You might have seen me ask about car shipping. I ended up not buying the car I thought I was going to buy and bought won a bit further away, so I decided on shipping. At someone's recommendation here, I used DeMoise Trucking. Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Very highly recommended. This is my first 911. I have wanted one for 30+ years. One of my fears was that once I actually bought one, it might not live my to my overblown expectations. I was wrong. It is even better than I ever thought. It's a 03 coupe black/black. This board has been a valuable source of information. Thanks to all who contribute.

POST 2Original post

I think that was me with the recommendation. I used them as well with no problems...glad they worked out. Your P-car looks awesome...congratulations. I love the color! You are now ready to mod.

POST 3Original post

DCP, that is one gorgeous looking car...congratulations...it's funny about that fear of over expectation after wanting one for ~20 yrs., I felt exactly the same way....2 + years later, it still feels the same way as when i drove it out of the dealer. Life is wonderful, enjoy.

POST 4Original post

DCP - Congrats on getting the P-car. Nice ride... thanks for sharing the pics. Now that you are an OWNER, you might think about becoming a MEMBER here. Only $17 for one year, or $32 for two years. Cheaper than a tank of gas, but lasts MUCH longer.

POST 5Original post

DCP: Congrats! Beautiful car! I know exactly how you feel my current 911 is my first P-car -- after 30 yrs in the making! Enjoy the experience!

POST 6Original post

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Those are dealer plates from where I bought it. I am in Houston. Buying over the Internet was an interesting experience. Made me very nervous, but worked out well.
